In 2005, Dennis and Sharr Ballweg combined a love for health care and helping others to open Ballweg Family Pharmacy. Their dream was to create a different kind of pharmacy that provides top-notch service along with a personal, caring experience. All the staff works hard to make our patients feel at home and at ease so we can assist in making their medication treatment a success.

Dennis & Sharr
Owners, Dennis and Sharr combined their love for healthcare in 2005 bringing their dream to life of owning their own pharmacy. As a pharmacist, Dennis strives to make the pharmacy experience positive, informative, and friendly.
Dennis has found a calling in compounding where he has been able to formulate and make unique medications for people and animals alike.
Sharr is a registered nurse with a great deal of love and compassion for the people she serves. You can find her working closely with our patients checking blood pressures, helping with medication reminders, fitting compression stockings, finding unique herbs and supplements and so much more.
Nicole, PharmD
Nicole is a pharmacist with a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She enjoys working directly with patients to help them understand their medications and reach their health goals.
Nicole is a strong advocate for patients and independent pharmacies. She has been involved in state and federal efforts to promote reforms that lower healthcare costs and keep local pharmacies accessible.
She is especially focused on ensuring medication regimens are safe and effective, particularly when supplements or herbal products are part of the mix. Nicole also provides vaccines, medication administration, strep testing, consultations, and community health talks.
